The town is abuzz, it’s “The Wonderful Women of Oz” beauty pageant... with a twist! Who will be crowned this year’s Wonderful Woman of Oz? Join famed pageant consultant, Lawrence Sparkles, Oct 2-3 and 9-10, for a Wizard of Oz themed, Columbian Theatre Murder Mystery in downtown Wamego.
Introducing a cast of bratty beauty queens, smarmy judges, and two dysfunctional and delusional co-hosts, in a laugh-out-loud event featuring talent competitions, swimsuit contests and non-stop hijinks. It will be an evening of beauty, poise, and grace…until someone winds up dead. It’s up to the audience and our cast of zany characters to determine the murderer.
Written and directed by Wamego local, Bryan Scruggs, this is sure to be a night of suspense, absurdity and nonstop hilarity! Social distancing automatically implemented when purchasing tickets.
