It’s a dark and stormy night and the House of Opulence is about to lay the gavel down on the most important auction of their history. Rare and expensive items from MGM’s cinematic production of “The Wizard of Oz” have come up for bidding and a cast of colorful characters have shown up to place their bids. The item garnering the most attention? A long lost and extremely rare pair of ruby red slippers worn by none other than Judy Garland herself! Everyone wants the shoes for themselves and when the shoes owner winds up murdered before the gavel hits the podium the night becomes a murder investigation, with the auction’s highest bidders at it’s center. Who did it? Poppy Merlot, the Hollywood historian? The up and coming pop star, Tangerine? Or was it the Curator of the Oz museum, Leona Dijon? Could it have been the president of the International Oz Fan Club, Jade Evergreen. Maybe it was Barry Cerulean the acclaimed author or Amethyst the Incredible, renowned spiritualist and psychic? Get ready for a night of laughter, fun, and murder as you help us solve “Going Once, Going Twice…Gone!” the NEWEST murder mystery from the Columbian Theatre.
