The Columbian Theatre NOW & FOREVER The Columbian announces “Success!”
The Columbian Theatre Foundation is excited to announce that it has not only reached its goal to raise $360,000 for the Now & Forever campaign but exceeded it. The total raised to date is $361,195 and sets the stage for a new era. Vivian Orndorff, Executive Director, said “The support of this community has been overwhelming and now the real work can begin! Thank you.”
Orndorff also said, “Our mission will remain strong – to be an arts center for the community. We will continue providing wonderful theatrical productions, a gallery and gift shop that showcase local artists, a unique historic building for visitors and events as well as developing some new and exciting projects.”
Lance White, board president, also expressed gratitude for the hard work done by the fundraising committee co-chairs, Dave Vanderbilt and Charlie White. “The success of this campaign has put new wind in our sails.”
