Starting a new life is never easy, especially when moving
from the big-city life in Chicago to the small town of
Beaumont. Ren has a major culture shock when he finds
himself in disagreement with the ultra conservative,
spiritual town that has put a ban on dancing.
He makes quite the reputation for himself as a
"trouble-make"; he vows to break the dancing ban and to
reawaken the town. Ren faces road blocks along the way,
but eventually both he and Rev Moore let down their
guards and teach each other vital life lessons.

Swogger Gallery Opening
May 1st, 5:30-7:30 pm
Join us for an exclusive Gallery Openingfeaturing The Columbian
Artist Group and a performance by Kirk Drager. Drager is a local
artist heavily influenced by the sounds of bluegrass, Alt-
Country, and Rock. A Cash bar and Hors d'oeuvres will
be avaliable in the lower lobby! Immediatly following the
opening be sure to join us in the Historic Columbian Theatre for
Footloose! This Exhibit is set to run through June 29th, 2015.
Truckstop Honeymoon Concert
May 15, 2015 at 7:30 p.m.
This notrious rock-and-roll, bluegrass, punk duo will
fill the historic Columbian stage with ordinary stories
about everyday occurances complete with their
uniquely energetic sound. The show will open at 7:30
p.m. with Manhattan singer-songwriter Eddy Green,
immediataly followed by Kansas native, Sky Smeed.
A cash bar will be available in the upper lobby. Tickets
are $15 for general admission.
Tickets are currently available under Box Office.
There will be two sessions again this year.

to accomadate a rental going on in the building.
